About thermography

Infrared light, like visible light, is part of the electromagnetic spectrum. However, unlike visible light, infrared light is at a lower frequency and longer wavelength, and as such can't be seen by human eyes. Thermography is the science of converting infrared energy emitted from an object and displaying it as a temperature-based picture, a thermograph. These images can go a long way towards detecting problems in electrical and mechanical systems, giving you time to act on these problems before they can become catastrophic failures.
