About the Company

My name is Adam Tucker, and I'm the owner and operator of Preventative Solutions. Originally an industrial mechanic by trade, I've spent my career in the world of industrial maintenance in a variety of roles. I've been an electrical/mechanical troubleshooter, a reliability technician, a manager, and of course, a thermographer with Level II Certification. Having worked with multiple internationally known companies and witnessing different approaches to industrial maintenance, I decided to branch out and start my own company, Preventative Solutions, in an effort to take what I've learned and help others develop their own "best practices".

Based in Nova Scotia, Canada, Preventative Solutions can help your company with identifying problems and set you on the right course to stay ahead of failures and downtime. We use thermal imaging cameras and vibration analysis tools to scan and inspect motors, gearboxes, electrical panels, variable frequency drives, etc, and give you reports with visible light & infrared images, bearing and alignment status, as well as our recommended course of action. 

In addition, whether your company is just beginning to set up a preventative maintenance program, or looking to optimize an existing PM plan, we can help guide you through the job plan design process and give advice based on many years of industrial maintenance experience.
